Wet has officially announced the release of their forthcoming album, Two Lives, slated for Spring 2025. Alongside this announcement comes their latest single, “Signs,” a delicate, introspective cut that marks the third release from Kelly Zutrau this year. Following the shimmering “Double” and the lushly produced “Rosy”—crafted with longtime collaborators Bussy Ross, Daniel Aged (of Frank Ocean, FKA Twigs, and Rosalía fame), and Rob Akroyd (Florence + The Machine)—“Signs” builds anticipation for the new era Wet is ushering in with Two Lives.

The album promises to tie together these sonic threads, with “Signs,” “Double,” and “Rosy” all set to feature on the tracklist. Wet has embarked on an expansive European tour to tease the new material, hitting iconic cities like Barcelona, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Stockholm, with Jam City of Night Slugs lending support on select dates.

Since first capturing attention with their 2014 self-titled EP on indie label Neon Gold, Wet has evolved into a cornerstone of ethereal pop. Their 2016 debut album Don’t You on Columbia Records was hailed by The New Yorker as “a harbinger of a pop future that’s tantalizingly close.” Their follow-up, Still Run (2018), received critical acclaim from Billboard as their “best project yet.” Wet’s trajectory continued with 2021’s Letter Blue via AWAL, a deeply emotional album that solidified their sound with haunting elegance.

The band’s collaborative spirit has also expanded in recent years, with standout contributions to Fred again..’s Actual Life 3 and Ralphie Choo’s SUPERNOVA. Most recently, Zutrau’s unmistakable vocals set the tone on Rod Wave’s Nostalgia, opening the album with a soul-stirring presence.

With Two Lives on the horizon, Wet’s latest chapter promises to further explore the vulnerability and lush soundscapes that have become their signature. If “Signs” is any indication, this new collection will resonate deeply, inviting listeners into a reflective journey through Zutrau’s intimate songwriting.
