(November 4, 2025) — Pop icon Andy Bell — best known as one half of legendary synth-pop duo Erasure — returns with his shimmering new single “The Chance Won’t Come Again,” featuring Tim Rice-Oxley of Keane. The single marks a dream collaboration between two of British pop’s most accomplished songwriters and arrives ahead of Bell’s highly anticipated four-disc box set, The Crown Jewels, out December 12 via Crown Recordings.
A bittersweet yet euphoric anthem, “The Chance Won’t Come Again” is a tears-on-the-dancefloor stunner — wistful, romantic, and brimming with Bell’s unmistakable warmth and emotional range.
“It’s surreal and such an honor to work with one of my musical heroes,” says Rice-Oxley. “When I first heard Andy’s magical vocals, it was the stuff of dreams. The song captures the pathos of missed opportunities — a banger full of heartbreak and hope.”
Bell adds:
“It’s about recognizing the fleeting moments that define us — and not letting them slip away.”
The song follows Bell’s studio version of “Xanadu” (Olivia Newton-John & ELO), which quickly became a fan favorite on his ongoing Ten Crowns Live world tour.
