Based in Toronto, Canada, Featurette is composed of singer Lexie Jay and drummer Jon Fedorsen and were formed in 2012. Greatly influenced by electronica from Northern Europe and New Zealand, Featurette have been compared to Phantogram. This is a good comparison, but Featurette is not a copy band. They have a more percussion driven sound, while still keeping that dreamy, electronic style. The percussion keeps you from nodding off and concentrating on the lyrics and beautiful vocals of Jay. Jay sounds like an angel (or is that a devil). I cannot wait for more of their work to be dropped. A tour needs to happen soon.
