The music scene in Columbus, Ohio, is certainly not dead. From that unlikely location comes the trio, Fine Animal. Fine Animal pulls from the creative well of Bowie and St. Vincent and, as so many of us Ohioans do, adds their own twist and makes the music all their own. This summer will be the summer of Fine Animal, as they will be releasing their first EP this summer. The blend of art and music makes an intoxicating mix. As Bit Candy says:
“if you’re into artists like Phantogram or Sigur Ros, but want something a bit more edgy and dynamic, then Fine Animal is one band you won’t want to pass up.”
I totally agree. This is edgy in a St.Vincent type of way. These three continue down this artistic path, we’ve got ourselves a summer runaway.
