Australian electronic icons Cut Copy have just dropped their final teaser before their new album Moments lands this Friday, September 5 via Cutters Records / The Orchard. The single, “Belong To You”, is a shimmering duet with rising indie-folk star Kate Bollinger, blending groovy synths, pedal steel touches from The Triffids’ Graham Lee, and soaring alternating vocals from Bollinger and frontman Dan Whitford.
Whitford explains:
“The song is about someone obsessing over past mistakes while overlooking the love that’s been there all along. When Kate added her vocals, it suddenly became this cosmic duet — something like a sci-fi country love song.”
The track radiates warmth, nostalgia, and dancefloor energy — a perfect snapshot of what Moments promises: an album about perseverance, gratitude, and finding beauty in life’s fleeting flashes.
🌍 The Tour
Cut Copy aren’t just celebrating with a record drop — they’re also heading out on a massive world tour this fall. Kicking off in Seattle on November 10, the North American run includes stops in Los Angeles, NYC, Chicago, and Miami, plus a festival set at Mexico City’s Corona Capital. Before that, they’ll play a string of Australian shows in September.
