This is a great song about a real problem: what happens when you get older and your best friends and acquaintances disappear and your life turns into a sitcom with just four or five of you with that special guess appearances? Not exactly the usual topic for a song, but PS I Love You are not your usual band. Hailing from Canada, the band core consisting of Paul Saulnier and Benjamin Nelson, deliver crisp indie pop with a strange resonance reminiscent of Neutral Milk Hotel, though very original. The most important thing about PS I Love You is to expect the unexpected. This song, Friends Forever, will leave you singing along to the chorus, remembering your past friends, all along to a tremendous mixture of buzzing guitars and thundering rhythms. These guys nail it.
