The Native Sibling

“The Fall”

Groundsounds

The Brother-Sister duo from Seattle, WA, were playing in a pub in Ireland, just for fun, when they realized that they had something special.  After the death of their mother, they realized they needed to express their feelings through music.  And well they did.  The Native Sibling have this Mazzy Star sound to them, but being siblings, the music seems to be coming from one person.  This is deep, intensely person music, like reading the poems of Sylvia Plath or reading the works of Jean Genet; very intimate  The Native Sibling are not afraid of you, the listener, to get them know.  I’m glad I did.  It’s an intense ride, but worth it.
