“Blue Inside”

This spring, onDeadWaves will be releasing their album on Mute Records.  OnDeadWaves is James Chapman, better known as Maps, whose critically acclaimed debut We Can Create was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, and whose latest album Vicissitude, came out on Mute. The other is Polly Scattergood, the electrically charged artist who has released two solo albums on Mute.  The two have come together to produce an album that has some Mazzy Star and Nick Cave influences, with a little Brian Eno thrown in.  This is THE single to take with you to walk on the beach.  OnDeadWaves is just begging for your solitude.
