The Danish alternative-pop act Oh Land is finally back with a new single. It’s been a few years since we’ve heard anything from this enigmatic songstress who first graced the stage of my NYC Pride event in 2010. My first thoughts on watching her perform was that she was unlike any other female performer I had seen before. I was totally blown away by her beauty and her insatiable lust for incredible live performances. Take a listen to her new single “My Boxer” below.
Wish Bone is the long-awaited follow up to Oh Land’s 2011 self-titled album that garnered overwhelming acclaim, with SPIN declaring it one of “20 best pop albums of 2011,” and Details praising its “fizzy, danceable electro-pop in the mode of Lykke Li and Florence and the Machine.
