The Candy Skins

“House At The Top Of The Hill”

Fun?

Welcome to Flashback Tuesday.  This is a great band, one of the early proponents of BritPop, sadly overshadowed by Oasis, the Verve, and Blur (all great bands).  The Candy Skins had this quirky sound, and their lyrics were always ironic and catchy.  An example is:  “She’s such a silly cow; I’m over the moon.”  They are probably my favorite band of all time.  They keep on reuniting, so maybe you’ll get a chance to see.  Seriously, check out The Candy Skins for the best of 90’s BritPop.
