Arctic Monkeys headlining Glastonbury again was just another rumor before, so fans kept their fingers crossed and wished it wasn’t just another hoax. Well, British tabloid The Sun reported that the band will be the ones to headline the Pyramid Stage at the Glastonbury Festival this year. June 28 is the date to be marked on your calendars, everyone. You don’t want to miss this one hell of an event, do you?

It started when Alex Turner revealed that he has been wishing for another shot to headline Glastonbury again. Last time’s performance was absolutely breathtaking. With a sea of people banging their heads and throwing their hands up in the sky, it’s safe to say it’s one of the biggest events in history. Especially at that time when they sang “I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor,” you could hear the fans sing along as Alex Turner sings it. And lighting the fuse might result in a bang b-b-bang! Go! Despite how that awesome night went, Alex Turner stated “I don’t think we got that quite right when we did it in 2007.” That’s actually a good thing if you think about it. They’re the biggest English rock band to date, how many more people will be joining in the crowd at the time the band headlines Glastonbury once again?
