Imagine a happy Social Distortions. Hard to do, isn’t it? Well, listen to Greg Holden’s new CD, Chase The Sun. You get all the passion of Mike Ness with this sense of positiveness, maybe arising from the seven-month trek he talk from his native Scotland through India and Nepal, finding himself. And finding himself he has. His music is wonderfully country-tinged in that smoky barroom feel, while his song writing is smooth and intent, no wasted words, no unnecessary notes. Holden is definitely someone to listen to. His CD was released April 13, 2015. Check it out.
