Beyoncé’s latest hit, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” has ascended to the top of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, as reported by Billboard, making her the first Black woman to achieve this milestone, according to Variety. Alongside, her other new release, “16 Carriages,” has also made its mark by securing the No. 9 position on the same chart. These tracks mark Beyoncé’s debut on the Hot Country Songs chart.
Additionally, “Texas Hold ‘Em” has been introduced to country radio audiences, marking another first for Beyoncé with her entry onto the Country Airplay chart at No. 54. This follows Tracy Chapman’s historic achievement last year as the first Black woman to reach No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart as the sole songwriter, with Luke Combs covering her 1988 hit “Fast Car.”
