What a great song. “Quicksand” combines all the best of hiphop and electronic in such a new and interesting way. The lyrics are very positive and life-affirming, telling one to never give up in a relationship (if one thinks the goal is worth it). We’re not talking pie-in-the-sky but reality. The sound and production is perfect, as you would expect from the man who helped Ziggy Marley AND Flume win Grammy’s for best Reggae and best Electronic/Dance respectively. If this is the beginning of the solo career, GEOFFRO has tremendous future as solo.
